Tree Planting at Oquirrh Park [CANCELLED]

Tree Planting at Oquirrh Park [CANCELLED]

Due to the predicted rain storm on Saturday morning, this event has been cancelled.

We're looking forward to seeing you at other planting events throughout the season!

Come plant trees with TreeUtah at Oquirrh Park (4950 Ed Mayne Ln, Kearns, UT 84118) on Saturday, April 27th at 9:00am.

When you arrive at the planting site, find our big green tent to check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll begin with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into small groups and get planting!

We'll bring the trees, tools, soil amendments, and expertise to guide you throughout the planting process. We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to fill at our water station.

So we know to expect you, please fill out our volunteer waiver form by following the link below:

We've planted at this awesome park quite a few times in recent years and we're excited to be going back to plant EVEN MORE trees with you all!

This event was made possible in part by you through Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you!

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
